Objectives:

This 120-credit qualification is designed to support career advancement for individuals working in middle and senior management roles in Information Technology. The program aims to develop a critical understanding of management principles in the context of computing systems and IT development.

By offering a blend of theoretical knowledge and practical insights, the qualification provides an integrated understanding of IT concepts and their application in a business environment. It equips learners with the skills needed to pursue management roles in the IT industry or to continue their academic or professional studies in related disciplines.

 

Description

Entry Requirements:

This qualification is standalone but has specific entry requirements. Applicants must meet one of the following criteria:

  • Hold an LMQ Level 5 Diploma in Information Technology
  • Possess a UK degree or an equivalent overseas qualification
  • Hold a Level 5 qualification from an internationally recognized awarding body or an approved overseas institute of higher education.

Progression:

Successful candidates will have extensive opportunities to advance to higher-level qualifications. Since this qualification is equivalent to Level 6 (QCF/RQF), they are eligible for direct entry into Master’s Degree programs.
