About Course

Objectives:

The Level 4 Advanced National Certificate in Information Technology aims to provide students with a solid foundation in IT principles, practices, and applications. The course focuses on developing technical skills, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities essential for the modern IT environment. It equips learners with a broad understanding of computer systems, software applications, data management, and networking concepts, preparing them to address real-world challenges. Description

Entry Requirements:

This is a stand-alone qualification, but applicants must meet specific entry requirements. Candidates must have obtained one of the following qualifications:

  • LMQ Level 3 Foundation Diploma or GCE Advanced Level with three passes.
  • Any Level 3 or higher qualification listed on the NQF or QCF of the United Kingdom or SCQF Level 5 and 6 in Business Management.
  • Relevant national qualification awards at SCQF, or equivalent overseas qualifications, as recognized by UK NARIC to be comparable to a UK Level 3 qualification or higher.

Progression:

Successful candidates have enhanced opportunities to advance to higher-level qualifications, such as the LMQ Level 8 Advanced Diploma in Information Technology (SCQF) or the LMQ Level 5 Advanced National Diploma in Information Technology. Additionally, they are eligible for direct entry into the 2nd Year of Bachelor’s degree programs.
